PART TWO
HUIS TEN BOSCH is the first destination that our tour group went. It is basically a Dutch theme park located just by the side of the sea. The place is scenic; filled with windmills and rows of neatly planted flowers. It is a heaven for photo taking, just like what my uncle said before our tour. Aside from the scenery, there is nothing for us to be enthralled with. The chilly wind, brought by the sea breeze really freezes us up. The air temperature shows 14 degrees centigrade, but I am sure that it feels like 4. Actually we are not supposed to proceed to Huis Ten Bosch until the second day, but… since our tour guide suggested that we will save time if we take up his suggestion, we promptly followed.
It was really a bad choice, primarily because my family and I are not wearing anything thick enough to keep us warm and insulated from the chilly winds. Secondly, I did not have any sleep in the plane, and I was not feeling really well. However, there are always good experiences despite the worsening conditions; I was in a theatre and the show started by flashing a cute amine of Mr Albert Einstein. He was speaking in Japanese and he went on and on, blabbing all his nonsense. OMFG, how can I ever understand you? Zzz, Zzz, I slept. Hahas, I was sleeping when being entertained. Actually the best part of that show is the sudden burst in the sound that woke almost everyone in my tour up, not the actual part of that freaking show.
I also brought some souvenirs and found out that it is SUPER EX. But anyway, since I am not paying so I don’t feel the hurt. Please keep it from my dad.
The hotel that we stayed in the night was superb. Located at tip of a mountain, the scenery it offers is absolutely breathtaking. The balcony based on an open concept, allowing us to walk on to the green pleasures outside, with the town and sea as its background. FANTASIC isn’t it? Is was a perfect place for photo taking but I woke up late in the morning and failed to take any pictures. AHHH wasted. Haha but I can really count myself lucky because one of my tour mates lost all her day 1 and 2 pictures due to her camera reformatting. LOLs.
Dinner that night was a surprise actually. When we saw our plates, it contains a small piece of crab meat, about the size of a nugget, and some others insignificant things. I begun to wonder, will these food be ever found in my stomach once is swallow the food? The thought of the grad nite sprung up into my mind and I was preparing the worst by taking some pork floss down from my luggage. In the end, that piece of crap was only the appetizer. The whole meal itself was considered not bad but a future experience will change my view of this meal.
End of day one and part two
